Surah Al-Qadr (The Power, القدر) is the 97th surah of the Noble Quran — a Meccan surah of 5 verses. Read it below in Arabic with the English translation of Marmaduke Pickthall, and listen verse by verse to famous Egyptian reciters.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
إِنَّآ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ فِى لَيْلَةِ ٱلْقَدْرِ ١
Lo! We revealed it on the Night of Predestination.
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ ٢
Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Night of Power is!
لَيْلَةُ ٱلْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌۭ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍۢ ٣
The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.
تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍۢ ٤
The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with all decrees.
